Location

Hidden behind an old door on a narrow side street in Regola, Chapter Roma places you at the intersection of history and modernity. It’s ideal for those wanting to explore Rome’s less touristy corners. A short walk takes you to the ancient Jewish Quarter, with its rich history and Renaissance palazzos. The surrounding cobblestone streets, lined with old houses and artisan workshops, offer a glimpse into Rome’s past, while nearby art galleries and concept stores showcase its dynamic present. I think the location is terrific, quieter neighborhood but most sights within walking distance

The Rooms

Chapter Roma’s rooms are a study in contrasts—blending post-industrial patina with high-gloss elegance. From the compact Solo Pad (!) to the expansive 35-square-meter Suite, each room is thoughtfully designed with the finest materials and modern conveniences. Noble wooden floors, striking furnishings from designers like Tom Dixon and Moroso, and sleek bathrooms with brass fittings create a space that is both comfortable and stylish. Many rooms feature corner views, offering a dual aspect of the bustling streets below, and a cozy orange velvet sofa that invites you to relax after a day of exploration.

Restaurants/ Bar

The hotel’s primary restaurant, Campocori, is inspired by 1930s New York Italian restaurants and serves an upscale interpretation of classic Roman cuisine in a chic, club-like setting. The Lobby Bar, the heart of the hotel’s social scene, is renowned for its exceptional cocktails, particularly their negroni (sounds like the place to be for my husband) and is adorned with contemporary art that enhances the sultry atmosphere. During the summer, the rooftop provides a relaxed setting for enjoying light bites and drinks with sweeping views of the city.

Vibe

Effortlessly cool, Chapter Roma attracts discerning travelers and local tastemakers alike. The hotel’s design, with exposed brick walls and black-steel furniture, pays homage to Regola’s industrial roots, while contemporary art pieces add a touch of modern flair. The sultry lobby bar, adorned with work by leading street artists, is a social hub, known for its vibrant atmosphere and expertly crafted cocktails. In the warmer months, the rooftop pop-up is the place to be, offering panoramic views and a laid-back ambiance.

For who

Chapter Roma is perfect for travelers who appreciate a blend of history, design, and culture. Whether you're an art enthusiast, a foodie, or simply enjoy the finer things in life, this hotel offers a unique experience combining the old with the new. It’s ideal for those seeking a central yet less touristy area of Rome, where authenticity is key and every corner holds a story.

Note: The 2025 Jubilee in Rome is a special year of spiritual celebration and renewal for Catholics, and it's expected to attract a large number of tourists.

I also adore J.K. Place Roma, but that’s on another level of luxury. Truly an iconic standout. More on this gem later.
